For you whom I dreamt

For the one I met in sleep, and miss while awake

I don’t know your name,
or where you came from
just that your hands felt like rest
and your breath, like home.

You weren’t made of stardust,
not carved from marble
you had soft eyes, work-worn fingers,
and a laugh that didn’t try too hard.

You didn’t promise me forever,
you just brought dinner home.

You weren’t the tallest in the room,
but I still stood behind you, proud.

I remember how the nights felt
quiet, and not lonely.

You smelled of sweat and sun and safety,
and your shoulder was mine
when the day grew heavy.

I told you, softly, that I was carrying
something small and bright
and you didn’t flinch.

You placed your hand on me,
and stayed.

You stayed.

And somehow that meant more
than all the fireworks love ever promised me.

If I ever see you again
in a kitchen, on a porch,
or just in that sleepy corner of my mind
I’ll smile like I know you.

Because I do.

You were never just a dream.

You were the feeling
I’ve been waiting for
my whole life.

You will not disappear

You are not a wilted thing, though you feel like falling petals— soft, bruised, tired of the wind. You are not broken glass, just a soul that held too much light for hands that didn’t know how to hold it. You are not too much. You are not too little. You are exactly as much as love was meant to be. And no, this ache won’t vanish overnight, but neither will your quiet strength. Some mornings, you’ll rise on trembling legs, heart sore, eyes swollen— but still you’ll rise. You will learn to breathe in spaces where his voice used to echo. You will find beauty in silence, and comfort in your own touch. This is not the end of love— just the beginning of loving yourself the way you always deserved. So rest, dear one. Cry if you need to. But remember: You are still here. And you will not disappear. Not now. Not ever.

Tumhaare Ishq ki syahi

Just think what will happen to me, If you stop smiling when I'll look at you. Whole world will become a noise to me,  Shattering my dreams of me being with you. Just think how heavy my heart will be, If you stop stargazing  Whenever I'll do,  If you stop hugging  Whenever I'll spread arms for you, If you stop waiting  Even when I'll ask you to, If you stop walking w ith me, Walks full of your extremely boring talks. If you stop holding my hand, In that interlocking way, Showing your possesiveness over me. If you stop taking a glance at my smile, And telling me how beautiful it is And how much it melts you. If you stop playing sudoku with me, If you stop telling me how crazy you are, If you stop taking care of me as you do, If you got too angry at me and pushed me away. Remember we have this time now and now only, So celebrate it, live it, feel it, cling to it, and embrace it. Even being away I can feel every moment Spent with you. I miss all your smiles I miss y...
